How did you become involved with the CFK Foundation?

Colin is my fourth son. I wanted to support his brothers and friends in making his dream of a holiday hockey tournament for charity a reality.

What is it that motivates you to give back to your community?

We all have a responsibility to support and give back to the community in which we live.

What challenges do you see for our future generations?

Protecting our earth and climate change.

What brings you gratitude in life?

Seeing the CFK scholarship winners doing well in school and life.

How do you define success?

“No man is a failure who has friends”.

Why is it important to you to give back?

Do unto others.

What does “community” mean to you?

I see community as the city I live in, Rochester, NY.

Ask friends and family for guidance and support.

Open the best school with the best teachers for the children of inner city Rochester, NY.

What does the next 5 years for the CFK Foundation look like?

Continue to grow our support base and create more scholarships for children in the cities we serve. Our first scholarship recipients will have graduated from college!
